All Female Design and Build Project 

Who We Are

Two married gay women with backgrounds in environmental consultancy and brownfield redevelopment, now working in the sustainability and diversity and inclusion space. We care about the planet and believe in an equitable and just society where diversity is celebrated but who have both experienced gender discrimination in the construction industry during our careers.

What We Are Doing

Using our own house renovation project to apply the principles of sustainable construction and promote gender equality in the construction industry by assembling an all-female design and build team.

We are driven by our desire to minimise our own environmental impact, helping to protect the planet for future generations and to champion the talents of women in the construction industry in a bid to see more women represented in all sectors and at all levels of the industry and to encourage more women and girls into the sector by showing that women can design and build the spaces we live and work in and the range and variety of roles that exist within the industry.
